Sword and hex
Swordmastery
Swordmastery is the blade path taught from Coen’s mercenary father Pieter and expanded through books, omniblock and omniattack, or directional HEMA-inspired combat. Beside it sit Anca’s daylight Witchcraft and the nocturnal Vampiric Abilities. The three can be specialised or hybridised. XP comes from enemies, quests, hidden locations, and bosses, then spends as skill points plus time to learn. There is no official numeric perk table. Perfect Blocks are a named verb — Untouchable asks for five in a row — not a frame-data sheet Summer Game Fest footage is a 2025-shaped trailer still useful as motion reference after launch, not as a patch note.
Three paths, no published numbers
The community bulletin on systems is the whole doctrine: Swordmastery from Pieter, Witchcraft from Anca by day, Vampirism after sundown. You may hybridise. Skill points plus time to learn is the spend. Hidden locations and bosses grant XP alongside ordinary enemies and quests. That is every official numeric-adjacent sentence. Anything that looks like a +12% node on another wiki is not first-party.
Steam achievements are the only public rank markers: Master of Arms, Arch Warlock, Creature of the Night for Ultimate Perks; Mastery for levelling one Swordmastery, Witchcraft, or Vampiric Ability to its full potential; Glass Ceiling for reaching level 50. They still do not publish the node values underneath.
Perfect Blocks are a verb with an achievement attached. Omniattack and omniblock are named in the systems bulletin beside directional cuts. That pairing is why this page talks HEMA-inspired combat without turning into a historical fencing essay. Pieter is a mercenary father, not a textbook.
St Mihai’s sword is a restoration job (Arbiter’s Blade). The armour set is a gathering job (Arbiter’s Regalia). Gear of the Gods stays hidden. Those three sit on Swordmastery’s neighbourhood without turning the band into an item database this wiki was not planned to host.

Stepped bands, not three cards
The bands below are indented on purpose. Swordmastery is the first step, witchcraft steps in, vampirism steps further. They are not equal marketing tiles. Pieter’s cuts, Anca’s hexes, and the sacrificial night kit do not share a silhouette, and this page will not pretend they do.
Arbiter’s Blade and Arbiter’s Regalia name St Mihai’s sword and a full armour set. Gear of the Gods stays hidden on the community table. Make It Rain asks you to explode an enemy with an Active Ability. Those are verbs. They are not a DPS spreadsheet.
Absolutely Insatiable asks for three Passive Abilities at once, which is the only official hint that passives exist as a slot count. It still does not publish which three. Do not fill the band with guessed names.
XP sources again, because players skip it: enemies, quests, hidden locations, and bosses. Then skill points plus time. Hidden locations are why Vale Sangora’s towers and villages matter to this page even though this is not a map.
Swordmastery
Taught from mercenary father Pieter, then books. Omniblock and omniattack sit beside directional HEMA-inspired cuts. Master of Arms tracks an Ultimate Perk in this tree. Arbiter’s Blade restores St Mihai’s sword. Untouchable asks for five Perfect Blocks in a row.
Witchcraft
Anca’s daylight craft: crowd-control, damage-over-time, buffs and debuffs. Arch Warlock tracks an Ultimate Perk here. Compel Soul is the named ability that lets Coen speak with the dead for Dead Man Talkin’.
Vampirism
Night kit fueled by health and corruption; most demands a sacrifice. Creature of the Night tracks the Ultimate Perk. Shadow Roamer measures a thousand metres on vampiric movement. Feeding verbs exist; a HUD meter does not.
Hybrid play and the Summer Game Fest reel
Because the three paths can mix, a daylight hex into a Perfect Block into a night movement ability is a legal sentence in this game. The Summer Game Fest trailer is the motion reference for how those sit in a fight, still without a stat dump. Watch it for spacing and sacrifice, not for a tooltip.
If you came here looking for a skill calculator, this wiki does not have one. The sealed design forbids invented perk numbers. Use the qualitative bands, the Steam Ultimate-Perk achievements, and the day-and-night page. That is the complete official kit as of Hotfix 1.0.2.
Level 50 is Glass Ceiling. Full potential on one path is Mastery. Those two Steam rows are the progression ceiling this wiki will quote. Everything else is a trailer swing.
The trailer still does not print a stamina number. Watch spacing and sacrifice, then close it.

Practice in Laslea, spend in the valley
Pieter’s lessons start at home. Anca is in Laslea. The night kit waits on the Blood Mass. Do not skip the house to theorycraft a hybrid tree. The numbered-days clock will spend while you menu. Untouchable’s five Perfect Blocks are a drill you can do on the first bodies you fight; they do not require a late-game trainer.
When the valley opens, Svartrau’s silver streets and the vrakhiri transports (Delivery Delay: destroy eight) are combat spaces, not loot checklists. Capture the Flag asks you to tear down all of Brencis’s flags. Bird’s-Eye View asks you to climb all the towers and scout. Those are traversal-plus-fight jobs sitting on the same three paths.
Delivery Delay, Capture the Flag, and Bird’s-Eye View are valley jobs that sit on the same three paths. They are not a fourth tree. Do them with whatever mix of blade, hex, and curse you actually built, and watch the household clock while you do.
No skill calculator will appear on this site. The sealed interactions are achievement filters, edition compare, patch timeline, video chapters, store gallery, FAQ disclosure, and the first-night checklist. A fake talent tree would fail the design on purpose.
Restoration and gathering jobs sit next to Swordmastery without becoming an item database.
Hybridisation is allowed. Specialisation is allowed. Inventing a numeric node that Steam never printed is not allowed. That is the whole skill policy of this wiki as of Hotfix 1.0.2.
